Originally submitted at TV Stands.com

- Tinted and tempered glass doors conceal components and protect from dust
Cons: Flimsy Construction, Difficult To Assemble/Wire, Rough Edges
Describe Yourself: Practical
Primary use: Personal
From the day we bought this thing we have experienced problems with it. When we put it together one of the glass doors came unglued — we ordered a replacement. 2 weeks later it shows up and the other door literally comes unglued. We order yet ANOTHER replacement door and 2 weeks later it arrives. Opening the box we notice surprise surprise the door is already unglued in the packaging. We have a 54″ plasma sitting on the stand and after less than a month you can see a noticeable sag\bow in the wood.
Prepac is hard to get ahold of — every time you call you get an answering machine and sometimes they call you back and sometimes they don’t.
Overall this was a waste of our time and money — for less than $100 more and we could get a much higher quality stand thats made of REAL wood and doesn’t come unglued everytime you turn around.

The website we purchased this TV stand through is tvstands.com– and all I can say is W – O – W !!!! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! They profusely apologized for the shoddy product (even though it wasn’t their product) they issued an immediate refund for the full amount of the purchase! They were EXTREMELY helpful, curteous and willing to place their customer’s satisfaction on the top of their priority list! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!
…. Now if we could only get all business to unequivocally treat their customers in a likewise manner. These guys are the GEICO of online entertainment furniture…
I highly recommend TVSTANDS.COM !!!!
