Many of you have known that Emma has been sick since pretty much the beginning of the year. Well this last weekend was another scary one here in the Wheatley household. Emma started to cough really bad again Friday. Saturday she started running a low fever. Sunday she was really out of it and by late afternoon, she was obviously not feeling too well. She woke up that night with a fever of 104.2, blue lips, shaking, and vomiting. We called her doctor and ended up just keeping a really close eye on her and finally got her fever down instead of imposing another long night at the ER. She started to breathe better and her color came back so I spent the night with her in the guest room so that Andy could try to get some sleep. We went into her Doctor’s office on Monday to run blood work and get a chest x-ray which have both come back clean. So all we know is that she must have some sort of viral infection that she just can’t seem to kick. She seems to be feeling a little better and hopefully she can come out of it soon!
