A day in the life…
Remote Desktop Support
For a while now one of the best free remote support tools available on the web was LogMeIn. It allowed you to do remote screen sharing via Citrix. It is a lifesaver when you are helping someone in a pinch. The only catch was you had to register the other person’s computer on your account–which has obvious security concerns as well as other associated headaches. Well good news, LogMeIn has improved yet again on their awesome product!! Now it is even easier than before to do remote desktop support.
Just point both computers to this link: LogMeIn Express and get the 12-digit code from the person’s computer who you wish to access. And that is it. No registration, no long installation, no configuration. Easy cheesy!
